The striking original front wrapper features highly important early Saudi iconography, depicting a central palm tree, crossed swords, and twin national flags inscribed with the Shahada. This edition is highly sought after by collectors of Middle Eastern history and early 20th-century Levantine printing. It is rarely seen in its original fragile paper state, as most surviving copies were later stripped and rebound into institutional hardcovers. A brown water and moisture stain is present on the upper portion of the front cover, extending slightly over the main Arabic title text but leaving the calligraphic lettering and central green iconography fully legible. The pages shows natural age-toned browning, light handling smudges, and minor foxing. The edges are gently rubbed with minor chipping to the extremities, but the decorative green and black elements remain distinct. The spine \u0026amp; binding slightly creased with the severe deterioration and exposed text block limited only to the bottom section of the spine; the binding remains secure and intact. The internal Pages are clean and securely bound, with light, even tanning throughout. Free from major tears.
