A gilt title label is present at the foot of the spine. The cloth covers retain traces of their original decorative character.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eCondition: Fair, with substantial wear commensurate with age. The leather spine is heavily rubbed and abraded, with extensive surface loss, particularly around the raised bands, edges, and joints. The gilt decoration is considerably worn but remains visible. The cloth-covered boards show significant rubbing, scuffing, and areas of loss, particularly along the edges and corners. The head and tail of the spine are worn and chipped. The binding is hinged and not tight, with some looseness to the structure. The book has historical bookworm damage, with numerous small holes and channels visible in the binding mostly. Complete, with pages intact and no pages missing.
