Description: The red cloth binding features deep patterned embossing and a central decorative cartouche.
Condition: Fair. The covers exhibit heavy fading and surface wear, particularly along the edges and corners. Significant bumping and fraying are present, with loss of cloth exposing the underlying boards in places. Evidence of old owner repairs. Contemporary notes have been added to the front and rear flyleaves. The hinges are weak. Loss to the front flyleaf. Internally clean with all text pages present and intact. A well-used copy showing considerable wear consistent with age and handling.
