Note: About Sheikh Ragheb Harb
- Early Life: Born in the village of Jebchit in southern Lebanon, Harb was a religious scholar who studied in Beirut and Najaf, Iraq.
- Leadership: He was a founding figure in the resistance against the Israeli occupation of southern Lebanon following the 1982 invasion.
- Legacy: He is famously remembered for his refusal to shake hands with Israeli occupation officers, coining the phrase "The position is a weapon, and shaking hands is recognition". He was assassinated in February 1984.
النشأة: ولد في قرية جبشيت بجنوب لبنان، ودرس العلوم الدينية في بيروت والنجف الأشرف.
الدور النضالي: كان من المؤسسين الأوائل للمقاومة ضد الاحتلال الإسرائيلي بعد اجتياح عام 1982.
الموقف الشهير: عُرف برفضه القاطع لمصافحة ضباط الاحتلال، وأطلق جملته الشهيرة: "الموقف سلاح، والمصافحة اعتراف". اغتيل في فبراير عام 1984.
