Condition: Fair. Original printed wrappers. The covers are worn and stained, with creasing and small losses at the extremities; spine with losses exposing gatherings beneath. Worn covers and spines. The covers are discolored and show signs of rubbing and bending. The spine of the book on the right appears to be broken or severely creased, which is a common form of damage that can cause pages to loosen. Corners rubbed and edges worn, with evidence of handling and age toning throughout. Occasional spotting and light marginal staining to text leaves. The folding map remains complete and well-preserved, showing only minor creasing and browning consistent with age. Evidence of glue repair along the inner hinges adjacent to the front flyleaf. A sound, unrestored example of a scarce early geographical work, showing honest wear commensurate with use and age. Rear cover semi-loose. Trim to one of the map bottom edge. Complete. Internally clean.
