- The author, Dr. Saeed Al-Tal, was born in the Jordanian city of Irbid in 1934. He obtained a bachelor's degree in mathematics and education in 1957, and a master's degree in education in 1960, then he obtained a doctorate in philosophy in 1963.
- The field of education has received the bulk of the author's attention, and he has held several positions in it, and has held several ministerial portfolios, Minister of Communications, Minister of Information, and then Minister of Education, and he is currently the Chairman of the twenty-second General Conference of UNESCO.
