Description: Antique Arabic book in a dark cloth-covered binding with brown leather spine and leather-covered corners. The spine features raised bands with decorative gilt tooling and Arabic lettering. Marbled endpaper with a reddish-pink and dark vein pattern. The binding has a traditional antiquarian appearance with an attractive aged patina.
Condition: Good. The leather spine and corners show considerable rubbing, scuffing, surface wear, and discoloration consistent with age and use. Some of the gilt decoration on the spine is worn and faded. There is additional wear to the head and tail of the spine and corners. Areas of the original surface material have worn away exposing the underlying board to the spine. Curling to one page. The cloth-covered boards remain intact.
