Note: The first beauty queen that Lebanon knew, Jamila Haddad was the first Lebanese woman to be elected as a beauty queen in 1935, and she was crowned queen at the age of 17 in the first beauty competition that took place in Lebanon. The competition was held at the Qasouf Hotel in Dhour Choueir, and at that time the jury consisted of President Camille Chamoun, Gabriel Trad, and poets from the era of Emile Edde.
Queen Jameela has a Turkish mother and a Lebanese father (Dr. Khalil Haddad). She was married twice, the first to Abu Reda Hasbi and the second time to Saad Allah Al-Khalil.
أول ملكة جمال عرفها لبنان, جميلة حداد هي أول لبنانية تم إنتخابها ملكة جمال سنة 1935، وتم تتويجها ملكة عن عمر 17 سنة بأول مسابقة جمال صارت بلبنان. انعملت المسابقة بفندق القاصوف بضهور شوير، وكانت وقتها لجنة التحكيم بتتألف من الرئيس كميل شمعون، غبريال طراد، وشعراء بعهد إميل إده.
الملكة جميلة من أم تركية وبيّ لبناني (د.خليل حداد). تزوجت مرتين، الأولى من أبو رضا حسبي والمرة التانية من سعد الله الخليل.
