Condition: Good. The covers show general rubbing and surface wear from age and use, with wear and slight fraying/chipping along the spine edges and corners. The cloth remains intact and the boards are sound, with no major structural damage. Library identification markings are present on the spine.
Description: Ex-library copy, complete. Bound in burgundy cloth with gilt lettering to the spine. The book bears library markings to the spine, plates, and protective sleeves, along with library discard/withdrawn stamps on the front and rear flyleaves and pastedowns. Library stamps are also found on all three fore-edges (top, bottom, and fore-edge). There is also light pencil underlining to a few pages. The text and illustrations are complete. The fold-out map at the rear is present and has a slight curl at the edge. Overall, a complete ex-library copy with the usual institutional markings and signs of use.
